Licensing & Photo Use

Ask before reusing TENS articles, photography, illustrations, design assets, or large excerpts.

This page explains how to request permissions and how image rights are handled across the publication.

Article licensing

Request permission before republishing, translating, excerpting at length, syndicating, or commercially distributing TENS articles.

Photo use

Images may be commissioned by TENS, supplied by agencies, licensed from third parties, or embedded from public platforms. Rights vary by image.

Brand and screenshots

Short attributed screenshots for commentary are usually acceptable, but logos, layouts, and full pages require written permission for commercial use.

Permission depends on the asset, context, format, and commercial use.

To request permission, include the article URL, image or excerpt, intended use, publication date, territory, format, audience size, and whether the use is commercial.

Credit lines must remain intact. Third-party images may require permission from the original photographer, agency, platform, or rights holder.
