Dennis Hauger will move to AJ Foyt Racing for the 2027 IndyCar season under a multiyear agreement, the series announced on September 16.

The Norwegian will drive the No. 14 Homes For Our Troops Chevrolet after completing his first IndyCar campaign with Dale Coyne Racing. He joins Foyt as the 2026 Rookie of the Year.

Hauger’s move follows a rapid transition into American open-wheel racing. He won six races and the INDY NXT championship with Andretti Global in 2025 before stepping up to IndyCar.

His earlier record includes the 2019 Italian Formula 4 championship, the 2021 FIA Formula 3 title and five Formula 2 victories. Team president Larry Foyt pointed to that experience and Hauger’s ability to adapt as reasons for the signing.

The agreement gives Hauger a confirmed destination for his second IndyCar season and gives Foyt a driver whose development now moves from a rookie campaign into a longer-term team partnership.
