Formula 1 Launches Enhanced Unlocked Membership with New Personalized Benefits

By The TENS Magazine Editorial Staff

Formula 1 has officially launched an enhanced version of its F1 Unlocked membership program, introducing a suite of new personalized benefits designed to deepen fan engagement for the landmark 2026 season. The update leverages the sport’s revamped digital platforms to offer tailored content, exclusive rewards, and “money-can’t-buy” experiences that align with individual fan preferences for specific teams and drivers.

The enhanced F1 Unlocked platform, which remains free to join, now integrates directly with the personalization features introduced in the recently updated F1 App and F1.com. According to the official announcement, members can now curate their digital experience by selecting their favorite drivers and teams—such as Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Ferrari, or the newly entered Cadillac team. This data allows the platform to serve customized “insider” content, including technical analysis, race weekend offers, and merchandise discounts specific to the user’s chosen allegiances.

A centerpiece of the 2026 launch is a series of high-value competitions available exclusively to members. This includes the return of the “Season Ticket” in partnership with Heineken, which offers one fan and a guest the chance to attend every Grand Prix on the 2026 calendar. Additionally, specific team collaborations have been rolled out, such as the “Win Your Place on the Grid” contest with Aston Martin Aramco, granting winners premium hospitality and behind-the-scenes access at a race weekend. Similar exclusive giveaways have been launched in conjunction with Visa Cash App RB (VCARB), offering signed merchandise and team collectibles.

“We know that F1 has some of the most passionate and dedicated fans in the world, and we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to engage with them,” said Brandon Snow, Managing Director of Commercial at Formula 1, in a statement regarding the platform’s evolution. The enhanced membership aims to bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds, providing fans with access to live timing data, sector performance analysis, and team radio snippets that were previously harder to access for non-subscribers of F1 TV.

The launch coincides with the start of a revolutionary year for the sport, as the 2026 regulations come into effect. These rules feature lighter, smaller cars with active aerodynamics and new power units that utilize 100% sustainable fuels and a 50/50 split between internal combustion and electric power. The F1 Unlocked update is positioned as a digital companion to this on-track technical overhaul, ensuring fans can navigate the complex changes with expert insights and “curated insider content” that explains the new sporting landscape.

Members will also benefit from ongoing commercial perks, including exclusive sales at the F1 Store and F1 Authentics. The platform has also expanded its gamification elements, linking with F1 Fantasy and F1 Predict to offer leagues where fans can compete against friends and the broader community for season-long prizes.

The enhanced membership is accessible immediately via the official Formula 1 website and mobile app. As the 2026 season kicks off in Australia, the platform serves as a central hub for the sport’s growing global fanbase, which has seen significant expansion in markets like the United States following the success of Drive to Survive and the broadcast partnership with Apple TV in the region.
