The MoneyGram Haas F1 Team concluded the 2025 Formula 1 season in eighth place in the Constructors’ Championship, securing 79 points.

While the result marks a slight regression from their seventh-place finish in 2024, the campaign under Team Principal Ayao Komatsu was defined by successful late-season development and a standout rookie performance from Oliver Bearman.

Bearman Beats Ocon in Rookie Season
Promoted to a full-time seat after 2024, rookie Oliver Bearman emerged as the team’s lead driver, finishing 13th in the Drivers’ Championship with 41 points.
- Season Highlight: Bearman finished fourth at the Mexico City Grand Prix, equaling the team’s all-time best result (set by Romain Grosjean in 2018) by holding off McLaren’s Oscar Piastri.
- Head-to-Head: The young Briton won the qualifying battle (approx. 14-10) and race head-to-heads (11-9) against his experienced teammate.

Veteran Esteban Ocon finished 15th with 38 points. The former Alpine driver provided stability with a fifth-place finish in China and solid drives in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, though he struggled to match Bearman’s raw pace in the season’s second half.
Tech Upgrades Turn Season Around
The team’s challenger, the VF-25, initially suffered from high-speed instability. However, a decisive development program salvaged the season:
- Key Upgrade: A major floor package introduced at the United States Grand Prix (Austin) cured persistent porpoising issues.
- Result: The fix allowed Haas to score frequently in the final rounds, securing double-points finishes in China, Mexico, and Brazil.

The Midfield Battle
Haas successfully avoided the back of the grid, comfortably outscoring Sauber (70 points). However, they fell just short of a higher placement in a tightly contested midfield, trailing Racing Bulls (92 points) and Aston Martin (89 points). The team now shifts focus to the 2026 regulations, having established itself as a credible, consistent midfield operator.
