Estela Trevizo understands that presence is more than the ability to hold a camera’s attention. It is preparation made visible: the posture, timing, curiosity and composure that allow a person to enter a room with purpose. Across acting, modeling, entrepreneurship and on-camera hosting for TENS Magazine, Trevizo has turned that understanding into a multidimensional career.

Photographed recently in Miami by Sir Daniel David, Trevizo moves naturally between two settings that capture the range of her public life: the energy surrounding Miami Swim Week and the polished spectacle of the Ronaldinho Gala at the Versace Mansion. In every frame, fashion becomes a language rather than decoration.

A career built across the frame

Trevizo has worked as a professional model for more than 15 years, according to Bella Modeling School, the company she founded and leads as chief executive. The school’s biography describes national modeling, acting and voice-over work for companies including Sephora, Vince Camuto, Kay Jewelers, Mary Kay, Aetna, Best Buy, Chevrolet, AT&T and others. She is also known for appearing as “Lois Price,” the spokesperson for Frontier Utilities.

Commercial work demands precision. A television spot may offer only seconds to communicate warmth, credibility or aspiration. A model must understand the product, lens and audience simultaneously; an actor must make the moment feel lived rather than arranged. Trevizo’s experience across those formats helps explain the ease visible in her portraits.

Her screen work extends beyond advertising. IMDb lists Trevizo as an actress, including a credit for the 2024 film Just Us. The transition from campaign work to narrative acting is a natural one, but not an automatic one. It requires listening, emotional continuity and the willingness to disappear into a character rather than simply command attention as oneself.

The entrepreneur behind the image

The most consequential expression of Trevizo’s experience may be Bella Modeling School. Founded in 2013, it was created to make the path into modeling and acting more understandable and professional. Its programs emphasize preparation, confidence and current industry expectations.

Trevizo holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and brings that strategic foundation to an industry often perceived only through its finished images. A campaign may look effortless, but careers are built through discipline: learning how to audition, communicate on set, understand a brief, move with intention and recover from rejection. By turning those lessons into a curriculum, she has moved from participant to institution-builder.

Her own background as Miss Texas Latina 2011 also informs that mission. Pageantry can teach presentation, public speaking and composure under scrutiny, but Trevizo’s larger contribution is the way she redirects those skills toward development. The goal is not to manufacture a single image of beauty. It is to help emerging talent become capable, informed and confident enough to navigate a changing business.

Miami, fashion and the art of presence

At Miami Swim Week The Shows at Mondrian South Beach, Trevizo appeared in a metallic crochet gown that offered an architectural, luminous interpretation of glamour. At the Ronaldinho Gala at the Versace Mansion, a sculptural gold-and-orange look balanced movement with intricate detail. The photographs connect the energy of fashion week with the atmosphere of an event where sport, culture and celebrity converge.

What makes the images memorable is not only the clothing. Trevizo meets each setting with a distinct register. In one moment she is composed and editorial; in another she is animated, microphone in hand, working as a host. The change feels seamless because the underlying skill is the same: reading the environment and finding the right relationship with the audience.

A voice for TENS

As a host for TENS Magazine, Trevizo brings industry experience to the other side of the interview. She knows what it means to be photographed, cast, directed and asked to perform on demand. That perspective can create better conversations. Instead of treating a guest as a surface, she can recognize the preparation behind the public image and invite the person beneath it to emerge.

That role completes the arc of her career. Modeling taught visual communication. Acting sharpened performance. Entrepreneurship required leadership. Hosting asks her to combine all three in real time—with curiosity, clarity and the confidence to let someone else have the spotlight.

The modern model

Trevizo’s Instagram identity, “The Modern Model,” feels less like a slogan than a concise description of her approach. The modern model is not confined to a runway, set or campaign. She can be a performer, founder, teacher, interviewer and brand-builder. More importantly, she can use visibility to create structure for other people.

In Miami, the camera captures Trevizo at a vivid point in that evolution: glamorous but grounded, polished but expressive, equally comfortable holding the pose and holding the microphone. Her strength is not that she occupies many roles. It is that each role reveals the same quality—a practiced belief that confidence becomes most powerful when it is turned into opportunity.
